Job summary

Indus Towers is seeking a Field Engineer to oversee safe and efficient maintenance of telecom tower sites in the assigned area. You will drive uptime, energy efficiency, and compliance across sites, coordinating with teams and customers.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech in EEE/ECE, a valid driving license, and at least 2 years of telecom infrastructure experience. A two-wheeler is mandatory for applicants due to field assignments.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in EEE or ECE is required.
• Field role requires own 2-wheeler and a valid driving license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, effective operations and maintenance of tower sites to meet uptime, energy efficiency targets.
• Manage site uptime, ESH compliance, customer management, site quality & process compliance, and energy management and team coordination.
• Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Knowledge of DG sets, AC/DC power management, battery backup, HVAC, antenna and GSM/CDMA basics is advantageous.

• Responsible for ensuring safe, effective operations and maintenance of tower sites in the assigned area to meet company's objective of delivering highest uptime along with cost and energy efficiencies.
• Key responsibilities include Site Uptime management, ESH compliance, Customer Management, Site Quality & Process Compliance, Energy Management & Team Management.
• Knowledge of basic Electrical Engineering is a must.
• Knowledge of DG sets, AC power management system, DC power management system, Battery backup system, HVAC, antenna & basics of GSM/CDMA technology will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification : B.E /B.Tech (EEE/ECE)
• Since it is a Field role, own 2-wheeler & a valid Driving License is mandatory for applicants
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Telecom Infrastructure
