Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain high-speed data acquisition and control testing systems at customer facilities.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support via telephone, email, and remote desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
• Develop and configure vehicle testing software and test sequences using proprietary applications.
• Deliver customer training on operation, maintenance, and configuration of testing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on domestic and international installation projects.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and provide timely technical reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

The company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its India. team. This hands-on role involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting advanced testing systems at customer sites across India, with opportunities for international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain VMCIS High-Speed Data Acquisition and Control Testing Systems at customer facilities.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support via telephone, email, and remote desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
• Develop and configure vehicle testing software and test sequences using VMCIS proprietary applications.
• Deliver customer training on the operation, maintenance, and configuration of VMCIS testing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on domestic and international installation projects.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and provide timely technical reports.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering or field service experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Practical experience working with electromechanical equipment and hand tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong organisational skills.
• Confidence working in heavy industrial and manufacturing environments.

Additional Requirements

• This role requires frequent travel throughout India.
• A valid passport with no travel restrictions.

• All business travel, accommodation, per diem allowances, and work-related expenses are fully covered by the company.

Training & Development

Comprehensive technical and product training will be provided, enabling successful candidates to become specialists in testing systems, customer support, and application software.

Language Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate professional fluency in English and at least one regional Indian language (such as Tamil or Hindi).

Salary range:

8 LPA - 14 LPA.
