Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Pune to support sales with technical guidance and component selection.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with R&D, customer-facing troubleshooting, and identifying new business opportunities across India. The ideal candidate has a 4+ year background in FAE or design engineering in hardware/electronics, with deep knowledge of analog components and power electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Field Application Engineering or project design engineering in hardware, circuits and electronics components industries.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and experience with resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, MOSFETs preferred.
• Ability to provide technical advice and troubleshooting component-level issues.
• Knowledge of component selection and application in analog circuits such as Switching Power Supply, Buck/Boost converter, OBC, BMS, ADAS, DCDC, and Inverter.
• Experience in technical sales support or application engineering roles is highly recommended.
• Experience identifying new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Knowledge of the Indian electronics market, including trends and key players is highly recommended.
• Willingness to travel extensively (over 50%) for customer meetings, technical support, and industry events.

Overall, the individual contributes significantly to the technical and operational effectiveness of the team and the company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Giving technical support and advice to sales

What You Will Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic and electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
