Job summary

Maxflow Fans Manufacturing is seeking a Field Service Engineer for rotating equipment. You will work on-site at industrial sites, handling installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of centrifugal/axial fans and pumps.

Strong emphasis on safety and customer interaction is required. Applicants should have a Mechanical Engineering degree and proven field-service experience with heavy rotating equipment, with immediate joiners preferred and Kolkata-based candidates

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Field-service experience with industrial rotating equipment essential.
• Experience at industrial/project sites with strong safety awareness and customer handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-service on-site at industrial sites for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform field repairs and performance improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers and site safety procedures to ensure timely, safe execution.

Job description

Field Service Engineer Rotating Equipment

• Hands-on experience in industrial heavy-duty rotating equipment, especially centrifugal/axial fans, blowers, pumps, or similar machinery.
• Strong exposure to installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, alignment, vibration analysis, and breakdown rectification.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and execute field repairs and performance improvement.
• Experience working at industrial/project sites with strong safety and customer-handling skills.
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant field-service experience.

Preferred skills, knowledge & Behavior

• 1. Practical experience in fitting and erecting heavy rotating plant and equipment( Centrifugal fans and blower)
• 2. Practical Experience in fitting and commissioning.
• 3. Reasonable expertise in electrical & maintenance.
• 4. Experience in vibration analysis.
• 5. Report any shortage or manufacturing defects to the project manager so that take action accordingly.
• 6. Assist with producing method statements and risk assessments on site.
• 7. Candidates must be from industrial fan/pump or similar rotating equpment industry( not domestic fan)
• 8. Candidate must have exposure on heavy industrial fan( centrifugal or Axial fans) or pump industry or rotating equipment( not domestic fan).
• 9. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• 10. Candidates from Kolkata location will get first priority.
