Job summary

Flowserve is looking for a skilled Field Service Rep based in Coimbatore, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with customers on field issues and warranty complaints, carrying out service and repair jobs at customer sites, and providing technical assistance.

Essential qualifications include a DME or BE in Mechanical Engineering and 6-8 years of relevant experience. The role requires extensive travel within India and internationally to fulfill service needs efficiently.

Qualifications

You will carry out and support site commissioning, service and repair jobs at customer sites.**Responsibilities:*** Hands-on experience in carrying out service, trouble shooting, repairs,* commissioning of equipment in oil & gas sectors, refineries, power plants, watermarkets is required. Extensive traveling throughout the year is essential.* Candidates should be energetic, proactive and highly customer centric. Proficiencyover different languages will be added advantage. Should be willing to travelextensively on short notice. Should be self-driven, hands-on in the field, lead the team from front.* Carry out installation, commissioning activities of pumps at customer places and onsite repairs.* Perform in-house and on-site repairs & service activities.* Ensure customer expectations are met as per engineering standards.* Provide technical help and training to Technicians and Fitters.* Perform hands-on work to ensure pump repair jobs are as per requirement.* Co-ordinate with internal and external customers effectively.* Extensively travel for domestic jobs and overseas field service work on a continuous basis as required.* Prepare comprehensive reports for the work performed at site.* Should be able to use measuring instruments efficiently.* Ensure works are completed as per customer requests on time and in most economical ways.* Develop/Adopt new Techniques & procedures.* Establish safe and proper work area.
