Job summary

Rokade Rotek in Mumbai seeks a Mechanical Engineer - Site Service Engineer to perform on-site vibration analysis and condition monitoring of rotating machinery. You will conduct dynamic balancing, laser shaft alignment, and reliability-related maintenance across customer sites.

This role involves installing and commissioning vibration monitoring equipment, preparing measurement and service reports, and frequent travel across India.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of rotating machinery and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, balancing, or shaft alignment is a plus.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site assignments.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Freshers with interest in Reliability Engineering / Predictive Maintenance can apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laser shaft alignment and machinery alignment activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to bearings, couplings, shafts, motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes.
• Install, commission, and demonstrate vibration monitoring and predictive maintenance equipment.
• Prepare service reports, measurement reports, and technical recommendations.
• Travel to customer sites across India as required.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely completion of service activities.
