Job summary

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams and maintenance programs.
• Strong vendor, budget, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance and engineering operations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Lead engineers, technicians and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support requirements.
• Monitor budgets and optimize resource utilization.
• Establish safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct facility inspections and equipment performance assessments.
• Manage external contractors and AMC vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and manage maintenance services.
• Identify opportunities for energy conservation and efficiency.
• Track performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare maintenance reports and budgets for senior management.

We are looking for an experienced Facility / Engineering Manager to oversee facility maintenance, engineering operations, safety, compliance, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams, maintenance activities, vendors, budgets, and facility projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility maintenance and engineering operations to ensure safety, reliability, and smooth functioning.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Lead, manage, and mentor engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure facility activities support organizational requirements.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, operational costs, and resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement safety procedures and compliance standards as per applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, audits, and equipment performance assessments.
• Manage external contractors, suppliers, AMC vendors, and service providers.
• Coordinate vendor negotiations, project execution, contracts, and maintenance services.
• Identify opportunities for energy conservation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor facility performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present maintenance reports, project updates, budgets, and performance metrics to senior management.
