Job summary

Awfis Space Solutions Limited in Pune is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety, ensuring safety compliance and smooth operations.

You will provide expert advice on HVAC, vertical transportation, roofs and electrical distribution, and lead the facility management team to optimize resource distribution for uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong understanding of facility management systems and compliance requirements.
• Analytical skills to assess services and recommend improvements.
• Leadership capabilities to manage teams and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and functionality of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.
• Ensure systems comply with safety regulations and operational standards.

• Make independent operational decisions within department policies and position scope.
• Gather and analyze data, prepare operational reports, and assess the effectiveness of current and proposed services.

• Guide supervisors on optimizing the distribution of custodial and general operational resources.
• Evaluate and allocate resources efficiently to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
• Supervise and lead the facility management team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
• Provide direction, training, and support to team members to achieve operational excellence.
