Zepto is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager in Ahmedabad to oversee daily facility operations for a cluster of dark stores. You will lead maintenance, safety compliance, and space planning while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities management, a strong grasp of building systems, and proficiency in facility management software and MS Office. You will mentor staff and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of facilities management experience.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services for cluster of dark stores.
• Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule, ensuring the facility is well-maintained and safe.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility's budget, including expense tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with and manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.
• Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response procedures and manage incidents as they arise.
• Space Management: Oversee space allocation, layout planning, and office relocation as needed.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor facility staff, including maintenance personnel and administrative support.
