Samshék Fashion Pvt. Ltd. Noida is seeking an experienced Fabric Manager to oversee the full fabric lifecycle—from sourcing and procurement to quality assurance, inventory control, and seamless cross-functional coordination.

The role demands strong vendor networks, deep fabric knowledge, and the ability to manage timelines and costs efficiently. A Graduate/Diploma in Textile fields with 5–8 years of experience in fabric sourcing, QA and inventory is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Management, or Fashion Technology.
• 5–8 years of experience in fabric sourcing, QA & inventory (export house/buying agency/fashion brand preferred).
• Strong knowledge of woven, knit & blended fabrics.
• Familiarity with testing methods & quality parameters.
• Proficient in Excel and inventory software (WFX/Zedonk/ERP preferred).
• Strong negotiation, vendor handling & time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabric Sourcing & Vendor Management: develop relationships with mills, suppliers, and agents; source fabrics for bulk production and sampling; negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms; ensure vendor compliance with quality and company standards.

We're Hiring: Fabric Manager

Noida | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Saturday)

Samshék Fashion Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Fabric Manager to lead the end-to-end fabric lifecycle — from sourcing and procurement to quality assurance, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Fabric Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Develop and manage relationships with mills, suppliers, and agents
• Source fabrics for bulk production and sampling requirements
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms
• Ensure vendor compliance with quality and company standards

Procurement & Cost Control

• Finalize fabric orders post design and merchandising approvals
• Prepare and manage purchase orders
• Monitor fabric costs in line with allocated budgets

Fabric Quality Assurance

• Oversee fabric inspections (colorfastness, shrinkage, GSM, hand-feel, defects)
• Coordinate certified lab testing where required

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate stock, consumption, and wastage records
• Supervise inward/outward movement and ensure FIFO compliance
• Manage digital inventory tracking systems

Coordination & Planning

• Work closely with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams
• Forecast fabric requirements based on order quantities and style breakups
• Ensure timely fabric delivery to avoid production delays

Requirements

• Graduate/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Apparel Management, or Fashion Technology
