Job summary

FableStreet is seeking a Fabric Store Manager to oversee end-to-end fabric inventory operations in Gurgaon, ensuring accurate stock management and timely fabric movement through the supply chain.

You will lead the store team, coordinate with SCM, Production, QA, and external processors, and ensure tagging, traceability and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in fabric stores, textile inventory, warehouse or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of fabric inventory, processing and lot-wise tracking.
• Good Excel/ERP/WMS and MIS skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fabric inwarding, physical verification, GRN and system entries within defined TAT.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation and regular stock audits.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, FAB ID/lot-wise segregation and traceability.
• Manage fabric movement for dyeing, printing, washing, processing and QC, ensuring timely follow-up and return.
• Issue fabric to Cutting/CMT against approved requirements and maintain documentation.
• Control and segregate QC, rejected, hold and processed fabric.
• Reconcile quantities across Store Processor QC Store and resolve variances.
• Track ageing, slow-moving and blocked inventory and drive timely utilisation.
• Prepare regular stock, movement, processing, consumption and variance MIS.
• Ensure efficient space utilisation, housekeeping, safety and SOP compliance.
• Lead the store team and manage productivity, discipline and manpower deployment.
• Coordinate with SCM, Production, Cutting, QA, Finance, CMTs and external processors for smooth fabric availability.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in fabric stores, textile inventory, warehouse or supply chain, preferably in fashion/apparel.
• Strong knowledge of fabric inventory, processing and lot-wise tracking.
• Good Excel/ERP/WMS and MIS skills.
• Strong reconciliation, team management and coordination abilities.
