Formación

• Diploma or degree in Textile Technology or a related field preferred.

Role Description

The Fabric Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The Fabric Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of fabrics, including sourcing, procurement, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure timely availability for production.

Daily responsibilities include evaluating fabric quality, coordinating inspections, resolving quality issues, and maintaining documentation for compliance and traceability.

The role also involves collaborating with vendors and internal teams for cost negotiations, delivery schedules, and performance reviews. The Fabric Manager will guide and support team members, streamline workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement in fabric utilization and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Textiles and a solid understanding of fabric types, properties, and production processes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Procurement and Negotiation to manage sourcing, vendor relations, and cost-effective purchasing.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to ensure fabrics meet required standards and specifications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Team Management to supervise staff, coordinate tasks, and foster effective collaboration.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field are preferred.
• Experience in fabric management within apparel or textile manufacturing, especially in Tiruppur or similar hubs, is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer and inventory management tools.
