Job summary

Skillventory in Mumbai seeks an experienced Export Documentation specialist to verify post-shipment documents, coordinate with banks for LC and document submission, and ensure timely, accurate compliance with export procedures.

You will work on SAP-based processes, prepare BLs, BRCs and MIS reports, and liaise with customers, logistics and sales to resolve shipment queries while handling multiple shipments on a strict timeline.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with relevant export documentation qualifications or experience will be preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Export Documentation, Export Operations or Export-Import Documentation.
• Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of post-shipment documentation, Bill of Lading (BL), Letter of Credit (LC) and bank documentation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify post-shipment export documents within defined timelines with high accuracy.
• Handle export documentation using SAP, including shipment and dispatch details.
• Coordinate with banks for submission and negotiation of Letter of Credit (LC) documents and other export documents.
• Follow up on Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC) and EDPMS pending cases.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and Customs House Agents (CHA) for Bill of Lading (BL), transport documents and shipment-related requirements.
• Prepare and verify AIFTA/SAFTA certificates and related export documentation, wherever applicable.
• Prepare MIS reports, including OTIF shipment reports, BRC reports and EDPMS pendency reports.
• Coordinate with customers, logistics and sales teams to resolve export documentation and shipment-related queries.
• Ensure timely submission of documents and compliance with export documentation procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with relevant export documentation qualifications or experience will be preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Export Documentation, Export Operations or Export-Import Documentation.

• Experience in bank document submission, BRC, EDPMS and shipping line/CHA coordination will be preferred.

• Good communication, coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, maintain documentation accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
• Willingness to work at Mumbai, on a third-party payroll contractual basis.
