Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store in Gurugram is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to manage end-to-end export paperwork, LC handling, and SAP/ERP tasks for timely shipments.

Role requires Incoterms/UCP 600 knowledge, FEMA/DGFT awareness, and maintaining audit-ready records while coordinating with customers, banks, and freight forwarders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in export documentation and compliance checks.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, UCP 600 and customs procedures.
• Familiarity with DGFT regulations and FEMA compliance.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, LC docs and shipping bills.
• Check LC drafts, identify discrepancies and liaise with banks.
• Process export orders in SAP/ERP and maintain customer/shipment data.
• Generate reports and track pending cases to meet SLA.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and banks.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation for internal/external audits.

Key Responsibilities

1. Export Documentation

• Preparation and verification of:
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Shipping Bill details
• Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
• COO / FTA Certificates
• Insurance Documents
• LC Documents
• Ensuring documents match customer contracts and LC terms.
• 2. Letter of Credit (LC) Handling
• Check LC drafts and final LC.
• Identify discrepancies and obtain amendments.
• Ensure documents comply with UCP 600 requirements.
• Coordinate with Trade Finance and banks for document negotiation
• 3. SAP / ERP Activities
• Export order processing.
• Sales booking.
• Customer and shipment data maintenance.
• Generate reports and track pending cases.
• 4. Coordination
