Job summary

MTC Group is seeking a Logistics professional in Mumbai to handle export-import documentation, VGM details, and drafting/approving Bills of Lading. The role involves coordinating with shipping lines and forwarders, handling inbound/outbound activities, and ensuring compliance with customs requirements.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, good interpersonal skills, and are willing to work night shifts. Experience in logistics/shipping and CHA coordination is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge in Bill of Lading.
• Experience in Export-Import documentation and shipping.
• Knowledge of customs duties, clearance, and CHA coordination.
• Understanding LCL/FCL shipments and customs-related queries.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Export-Import Documentation Shipping & Logistics
• Provide VGM details of the container
• Draft B/L with Line/Freight Forwarder and obtain approval
• Send draft B/L to customer for approval
• Handle inbound and outbound activities
• Willing to work night shifts
• Coordinate with CHA and knowledge of government schemes/benefits against trade

Job description

• Export-Import Documentation Shipping & Logistics
• Provide VGM (Verified Gross Mass) details of the container
• Responsible for providing shipping Instruction to Shipping Line/ Freight Forwarder
• Responsible for getting draft B/L, checked & approved from Line/Freight Forwarder
• Sending draft B/L to the customer for approval.
• Should have handled import & Export / inbound and Outbound activity
• Should have knowledge of customs duty structure + clearance activity + co-ordination with CHA and knowledge about governments schemes and benefits against trade.
• Should have knowledge of customs-related query and free days, LCL and FCL shipments.
• Required Candidate profile
• Should have Excellent Knowledge in Bill of Lading.
• Should have experience in Logistic / Shipping
• English Communication should be good (written and verbal)
• Confident and excellent Interpersonal skills
• Should be willing to work in Night Shifts
