Job summary

Alivus Life Sciences in Gujarat, Ankleshwar, is seeking an experienced Utility Operations professional to operate and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC, RO/DM systems, and water treatment plants. You will monitor parameters, ensure uninterrupted supply to production, and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance in a GMP environment.

The role requires 2–8 years of hands-on experience in utility operations within API/pharma/chemical industries, with willingness to work in shifts and compliance

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma with 2-8 years of experience in Utility Operations within API, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Process Industries.
• Hands-on experience in Boilers, Chillers, HVAC, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, RO/DM Systems, and Water Treatment Plants.
• Knowledge of utility maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management practices.
• Familiarity with GMP documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility systems including Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, HVAC, RO Plant, DM Plant, Softener Plant, and Water Distribution Systems.
• Monitor utility parameters and ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, and purified water to production areas.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment.
• Maintain utility logs, equipment records, and documentation as per GMP requirements.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams for utility support during plant operations.
• Troubleshoot utility equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and statutory requirements.
• Support utility projects, energy-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
