Job summary

Immacule Life Sciences in Solan (Himachal Pradesh) seeks an experienced maintenance professional responsible for planning, scheduling and executing preventive maintenance of utility equipment to minimize breakdowns and downtime. You will supervise the operation and maintenance of Utilities, BMS, HVAC, and Water Systems, ensuring GMP compliant conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance of utility equipment to minimize breakdowns and equipment downtime.
• Supervise and control the operation and maintenance of Utilities, BMS, HVAC, and Water Systems.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of stability chambers, walk-in humidity chambers, cooling chambers, and deep freezers.
• Monitor plant performance through BMS facilities, including data logging, plant review, alarm management, and system status.
• Attend utility breakdowns in Utility/QA/QC areas, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, protocols, engineering guidelines, and GMP requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Work Permit System and applicable safety procedures.
• Monitor day-to-day utility operation, maintenance, and performance within the Engineering department.
• Monitor utility spares inventory and maintain minimum stock levels to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Implement, maintain, and improve electrical/control systems for instruments, equipment, and utility facilities.
• Review and update daily utility consumption and performance reports.
• Provide technical training to concerned personnel on utility operations, maintenance, safety, and SOP compliance.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and GMP-compliant work environment while complying with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, QC, and other departments for smooth and uninterrupted utility operations.
• Maintain required engineering records, maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and utility-related documentation.
