Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals in India seeks a maintenance engineer to monitor and operate utility equipment including chillers, compressors, cooling towers, RO and PW plants. You will review job cards, assign tasks, and perform planned maintenance.

• Must have basic knowledge of Utility equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of API maintenance software is preferable.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring, control, operation and maintenance of Utility equipment (Chiller, Air compressor, cooling towers, pumps, RO plant, PW generation plant).
• Receiving Job cards and allotting work as per priority to technicians.
• Carrying out PM activities of Utility equipment as per annual planner.
• Issue of required materials from Engineering Stores.
• Co-ordination with other plants for activities related to engineering/utilities.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machines.
• Must have knowledge about Utility equipment.
• Initiate, execute and co-ordinate small project activities for plant and utility.
• Ensure all site activities comply with GEP/SOP.
• Aim to achieve total budgeted repairs/maintenance cost/utility cost.
• Plan, schedule & execute maintenance of Utilities.
• Efforts to control maintenance cost & energy conservation.
• Efforts to reduce machine downtime and ensure uninterrupted utility supply.

Desirable skills:

• Must have basic knowledge of Utility equipment maintenance,
• Should have knowledge of computers basic Knowledge of API maintenance software is preferable
