Job summary

Responsibilities

• Goods Inward material verification & storage in predefined locations.
• Verify material against invoice and packaging; resolve shortages, damage, and packaging improvements.
• Verify outsourced materials and close their production orders on time.
• Digitalization projects in Goods Inward & material storage area; WM, Bar code GRN.
• Support for Line feeding activities and monitoring critical/spillage material.
• Coordinate with area owners and obtain acknowledgment for material handover.
• Perpetual inventory process to be conducted.
• CWH material issued, storage and transfer in system to spares as required.
• Manage audits to ensure 100% compliance and zero NCs.
• Monitor bin locations to reduce cycle time for picking and placement.
• Clear non-moving items as suggested by MRP.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for Goods Inward material verification & Storage in predefined locations.

2. Ensure proper verification of material against invoice and packaging adherence. Resolve issues related material shortage, damage, rust and improvements in material packaging.

3. Ensure proper verification of outsourced materials and timely closure of their respective production orders.

4. Digitalization projects in Goods Inward & material storage area. Warehouse management (WM), Bar code GRN and visualisation projects

5. Support for Line feeding activities, critical/ spillage material monitoring.

6. Co-ordination with respective area owners and handover their material & get acknowledgment for the same

7. Perpetual inventory process to be conducted

8. CWH (Central Weare house) material issued, storage and transfer in system to spares as per requirement.

9. Managing all types of audits with a proactive approach to ensure 100% compliance and zero non-conformities (NCs).

10. Monitor and audit bin location for reduction of cycle time for material picking and placement at particular loc.

11. Timely clearance of KSB Foundry and other rejection to avoid accumulation.

12. Working on Non-Moving items suggested by MRP team for timely clearance.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirement profile:
