Job summary

Luthra Group Company is seeking an experienced Storekeeper/warehouse supervisor for its manufacturing operations in Gujarat. The role involves controlling inbound materials, managing finished goods, and ensuring accurate recording in SAP MM.

The candidate should be adept at maintaining documentation such as GRN, MRN, and stock transfers, while upholding 5S warehouse standards. Experience in manufacturing/engineering settings, proficiency in SAP MM, and a Mechanical background are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on storekeeping/inventory, or warehouse supervisory experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Must have working proficiency with SAP MM for daily transaction recording and reporting.
• ITI/Diploma/Bachelors in Mechanical or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness for material handling supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory and stock control for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Record all stock movements in SAP/MM and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and maintain GRN, MRN, stock transfer notes, and gate passes.
• Maintain safe, clean warehouse per 5S and quality standards; perform cycle counts.
• Identify discrepancies and drive process improvements in store operations.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

• Inventory & Stock Control: Lead the management of all incoming materials (raw materials, components) and outgoing Finished Goods, including receiving, inspection, proper storage, issuing to production, and dispatch.
• System & Transaction Management (Must-Have): Accurately and promptly record all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) directly in SAP/ERP system.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential store documentation, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Notes (MRN), Stock Transfer Notes, and Gate Passes.
• Warehouse Operations: Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are safe, clean, and organized according to 5S principles and strict industry safety/quality standards. Conduct regular physical verification/cycle counting to match system stock with physical inventory.
• Process Improvement: Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, minimize material handling time, and contribute to overall store operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or a Warehouse Supervisory role, specifically within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector.
• Technical Proficiency (Non-Negotiable): Mandatory working proficiency with a major ERP system, preferably SAP (MM Module), for daily transaction recording and reporting.
• Education: ITI / Diploma / Bachelors degree (Mechanical or related field preferred).
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and good physical fitness for material handling supervision.
