Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) is seeking a results‑driven Manager - Production to oversee the plant's fabrication and assembly sections. You will ensure production plans are met, maintain shop floor discipline, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and productivity.

The role requires strong leadership, hands‑on manufacturing experience, and a track record of delivering cost and quality goals in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical/Production with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards is essential.
• 10–13 years of manufacturing/production experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage production as per plan to ensure smooth customer line operations.
• Maintain shop floor standards and adherence to processes.

Manager - Production

Reporting to Head-Operations

Role purpose

To manage Production as per plan to keep customer line smooth running.

• To keep shop floor activities as per standard.

Heads KRA (Key Result Areas) KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

Quality Improvement

To analyze & monitor the customer & Process PPM by monitoring the rejection trends and understanding the customer specific quality requirements & if required, take the necessary counter‑measures.

Quality Management

To review compliance to TS 16949/ ISO 14001, TPS system adherence and internal audits NC's.

Manpower Development

To plan and develop the skill set in department members as per roles and responsibility, and to set, monitor & review the performance targets of accountability and objectives of department members.

Performance Management

Requirements
