Job summary

Walplast Products in Vadodara, Gujarat, invites a Mechanical engineer with 4-6 years' experience to lead cement production operations. The role focuses on meeting production targets, optimizing dispatch planning and maintaining cost efficiency, while ensuring smooth plant performance and SAP data entry.

You will work cross-functionally with procurement and sales, monitor wastage, drive lean initiatives and maintain industrial relations.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of cement production and SAP entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets and dispatch commitments are achieved as per business plan.
• Control plant operating cost and CPMT.
• Monitor and reduce material wastage across RM, Semi-Finished Goods, Finished Goods and Packaging.
• Drive Lean, Kaizen and process optimization initiatives.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through production planning and timely dispatch.
• Maintain industrial relations with workers and contract labour.
• Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Manage SAP Entry
• Manage Slow Moving stock and Dead Stock for Inventory Control.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Sales for material arrangement and dispatched planning.

• Monitor and reduce material wastage across RM, Semi-Finished Goods, Finished Goods and Packaging.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through efficient production planning and timely dispatch.
• Maintain healthy industrial relations with workers and contract labour.
• Manage overall preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Manage SAP Entry
• Manage Slow Moving stock & Dead Stock for Inventory Control.
• Smooth Coordination with Procurement team & Sales team for material arrangement and dispatched Planning.
