Job summary

Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) is seeking a Junior Executive Production to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at Panvel. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and delivering targets while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical or BE Mechanical with 4-5 years of experience in production planning, cost control, energy management, and cross-functional coordination. The position offers growth within AIS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan production targets and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support introduction of new models and ensure ramp-up as per schedule.
• Control scrap, optimize production costs, and pursue cost-saving ideas.
• Monitor energy usage and drive energy-management initiatives.
• Maintain process quality, monitor in-process rejects, and ensure CAPA closure.
• Develop manpower: training hours, multi-skill coverage, reduce attrition.
• Ensure safety, conduct training, and maintain safe workplace.
• Improve OEE and ensure process audits; implement Kaizens.
• Discussion with other process members to resolve issues.

New Model Development
