Job summary

Signode in India is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end employee lifecycle in a manufacturing plant. You will handle recruitment, rewards, performance management, engagement, contract labour, and industrial relations to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 4–8 years of manufacturing HR experience, with strong knowledge of statutory compliance and cost control. The candidate should have MBA HR/MHRM and a 60%+ academic record.

• Graduate with 2 years full-time MBA HR/MHRM
• 60% and above throughout academics
• Experience: 4-8 years in a business HR role in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee life cycle including recruitment, rewards & recognition, performance management, engagement and industrial relations
• Ensure statutory compliances and maintain forms/registers
• Oversee contract labour management and vendor relationships
• Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance and leave management
• Support budgeting and cost control measures at the plant
• Interface with regulators and internal HRBPs for compliance tools

Position Summary:

The Incumbent will be responsible for the end-to-end employee life cycle for the respective business including recruitment, rewards & recognition, performance management, employee engagement, Contract Labour management and Industrial relations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for following aspects:

1. Statutory compliances of including maintenance of Statutory forms and registers
2. Interfacing with HRBPs for Online statutory compliance tool for all Sites
3. Contract Labour Management - Agreements, Vendor management, Bill Management, trouble shooting, queries handling
4. Admin activities
5. Cost and Budgeting, Cost Control measures
6. Interfacing with Regulators – Labour Dept, Factories dept, Police etc
7. Training and development of Blue Collared / MTMs in Manufacturing– Skill Matrix review and implementation
8. NAPS recruitment and skill matrix development
9. Grievance redressal of Blue Collared
10. Developing grape vine communication channels from Shop Floor for proactive Management.
11. Handling statutory committees like Canteen Management Committee and any other committee constituted
12. Organizing employee engagement programs in Plant like Fun Fridays, assisting for family day events etc
13. Canteen management and supervision
14. Execution of HR Processes in Plant
15. Stationery and Courier
16. Payroll inputs, Attendance and leave management

Candidate Profile:

Qualification & Certification (if applicable)

Any Graduate with 2 years fulltime MHRM / MBA HR

Academically throughout 60% & above

Experience

Minimum 4-8 years’ experience in Business HR Role with reputed Manufacturing industries.
