Qualifications

• 3–6 years in procurement within Construction Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, or Building Materials manufacturing.

• Experience with SAP MM and MS Excel

Responsibilities

• End-to-end RM/PM/MRO procurement for Bangalore plant, based on consumption trends and production schedules.
• Vendor management: identify, evaluate, and develop alternate suppliers; conduct price negotiations and contract/MOQ management.
• Drive cost optimization through benchmarking, annual rate contracts and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Process PR-to-PO cycles in SAP MM; handle RFQs, monitor POs and resolve GRN/invoice discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and consumption to prevent downtime and excess stock.
• Prepare and present MIS reports on spend, price trends, vendor performance and open PO/PR ageing

WE ARE HIRING: Executive / Senior Executive – Purchase

CTC: Up to ₹7. 5 LPA

Experience: 3 – 6 Years (Manufacturing / Chemicals Industry Mandatory)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement is a plus)

Industry Focus: Construction Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, Building Materials, or similar manufacturing sectors

Role Objective

Independently manage end-to-end procurement for Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and Maintenance (MRO/Engineering) items (~₹9–10 Cr monthly value), ensuring 100% material availability, cost optimization, optimum inventory, and strict adherence to company procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

RMPM & Maintenance Procurement: Plan and execute purchases based on consumption trends, stock levels, production schedules, and lead times for the Bangalore plant.

Vendor Management & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and develop alternate suppliers. Conduct price negotiations, prepare comparative statements (CST), and manage contracts/MOQs.

Cost Optimization: Benchmark market rates, drive annual rate contracts, and implement cost-reduction/avoidance initiatives.

SAP MM Operations: Process PR-to-PO cycles, handle RFQs, monitor open POs, and resolve GRN/invoice discrepancies with Finance and Stores.

Inventory & Supply Planning: Monitor ROL, safety stock, and consumption patterns to eliminate production downtime and prevent excess stock.

MIS & Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports covering spend analysis, price trends, savings achieved, vendor performance, and open PO/PR ageing.

Requirements

Industry Experience: 3–6 years in procurement within Construction Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, or Building Materials manufacturing.

ERP Proficiency: Practical working knowledge of SAP MM and advanced MS Excel .

Supply Chain Skills: Proven track record in vendor development, multi-category sourcing (RM/PM/MRO), and cross-functional coordination (Production, Quality, Stores, Finance).
