Job summary

Mounee Consulting Services in Palwal, Haryana, is seeking a diligent Purchase Manager to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations through proactive procurement of raw materials, components and services. Qualifications

  • Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain. Diploma in Materials Management will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in Purchase or Procurement within a manufacturing organization.
  • Minimum 2-3 years handling independent procurement responsibilities.
  • Experience in engineering products, fabrication, metal processing, automotive components, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems; vendor development experience; exposure to inventory planning.

Position Summary

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, bought-out components, consumables, and services required for uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role focuses on vendor coordination, purchase planning, commercial negotiations, inventory control, and ensuring on-time material availability while maintaining optimum procurement costs. The incumbent will work closely with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Finance, and existing suppliers to support smooth manufacturing operations.
