Job summary

Rajshree Polypack Ltd. invites an experienced procurement professional to join our Daman plant. You will source goods, negotiate with suppliers, and manage contracts and purchase orders to meet production needs.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, preferably in plastics packaging. You will collaborate with planners and internal stakeholders to optimize spend, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in plastic manufacturing or packaging industry.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field required.
• Experience sourcing goods, services, and materials for production.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase goods, services, or materials required by the organization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Conduct market analysis to identify best prices, quality, and services.
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain best rate and service.
• Prepare, review, manage contracts and purchase orders.
• Manage procurement budgets, track expenses and report to the Plant Head.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with planner for smooth inter-unit procurements.
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
• Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize procurement efficiency.
• Maintain and follow-up of BRCGS / HARA system procedures.
