Job summary

Sun Pharma in Dewas seeks an Executive (Maintenance) with 7-9 years of experience in plant upkeep. You will lead preventive and shutdown maintenance, attend breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety, cGMP, and SOP standards. The role requires BE Mechanical and hands-on supervision of maintenance activities, CAPA closures, and coordinating with colleagues across shifts and stores.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical with 7-9 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance.
• Experience in preventive and shutdown maintenance in a manufacturing setup.
• Good knowledge of safety, cGMP, and SOP compliance.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance activities and support projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment as per SOP.
• Perform shutdown maintenance of plant equipment as per SOP.
• Attend breakdowns of plant equipment and restore operations.
• Coordinate maintenance work requests and project activities.
• Maintain inventory and ensure timely closure of audits and CAPA.

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out preventive Maintenance of equipment as per SOP.
• To carry out shut down maintenance of plant equipment as per SOP.
• To attend the breakdown of plant Equipment.
• To carry out routine maintenance activity in the plant.
• To execute & track the maintenance work request (MWR) system.
• To execute /Co-ordinate the modification and project work in the plant.
• Responsibilities as “Reliever” to “Colleagues” of the department.
• Compliance to safety procedure, cGMP & SOPs.
• To maintain the document of maintenance work as per the requirement.
• Coordination with the activities of colleagues.
• To attend all trainings related to the job role.
• For Issuance of material from Engineering Stores.
• To follow the safety & maintenance work permit system during execution work.
• To follow the shift schedule.
• To maintain housekeeping in the respective area.
• To provide the proper supervision of ongoing jobs and provide tech. support to colleagues along with safety & maintenance work permit system
• To maintain the inventory for proper maintenance and project execution.
• To ensure timely closure of audit and safety observations, timely closure of implementation of CAPA and submission of required investigation report.
• To maintain the inventory for proper maintenance and project execution.
• Work and prepare action against the incident /accident at site.
• Prepare and timely submission of monthly report, breakdown.
• Ensure and responsible to maintain the area as per regulatory requirement.
• Ensure and responsible to complete the training timely.
