Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a Manager Engineering for its Sun Global Operations unit in Paonta Sahib. The role requires 12-16 years of engineering experience, B.Tech/M.Tech, and strong adherence to cGMP and safety standards.

You will lead plant operations, maintenance planning, and compliance audits to ensure reliable production. Responsibilities include managing HVAC, water systems, calibration, and SAP work orders while coordinating spare parts, preventive maintenance, and validation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/MTech in engineering.
• 12-16 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to cGMP and safety regulations.
• Maintain process/HVAC/Water system equipment per SOP.
• Manage plant operations and manpower scheduling.
• Identify critical spares and manage procurement/inventory.
• Review preventive maintenance records and schedules.
• Analyze breakdowns and plan short/long term actions.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Support validation activities for periodic process equipment validation.
• Coordinate with AMC services like UPS.
• Review SAP work orders for process equipment.
• Handle additional duties assigned by supervisor.
• Participate in audits and maintain compliant records.

Key responsibilities:

1. To ensure compliance to cGMP and Safety regulations.
2. To ensure compliance to maintenance of process/HVAC/Water system Equipment as per SOP
3. To ensure smooth plant operation and manpower scheduling.
4. To identify critical spares, procurement and its inventory.
5. To review preventive maintenance records.
6. Periodic review of breakdowns and its short term and long term plans.
7. To ensure compliance of calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment s, water system and HVAC etc.
8. Support to validation team for periodic validation of process equipment s.
9. Follow up for AMC services like UPS.
10. Review and maintain SAP work order to Process equipments.
11. Any other job assigned by Reporting Manager/HOD from time to time.
12. Participation in all audits and responsible for compliance and response to records of process equipment s.
