Job summary

Sun Pharma in Paonta Sahib is seeking a Manager Engineering to lead maintenance activities and ensure reliable plant operations within Sun Global Operations. You will oversee cGMP compliance, scheduling, and SAP work order management for process equipment.

Candidates should hold a B.Tech or M.Tech and have 12-16 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, demonstrating safety leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 12-16 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience in cGMP compliance and plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to cGMP and Safety regulations.
• Maintain process/HVAC/Water system equipment as per SOP.
• Schedule manpower and ensure smooth plant operation.
• Identify critical spares and manage procurement/inventory.
• Review preventive maintenance records.
• Review breakdowns and plan short/long-term actions.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment, water system and HVAC.
• Support validation team for periodic validation of process equipment.
• Follow up for AMC services like UPS.
• Review SAP work orders for process equipment.
• Any other duties assigned by Reporting Manager/HOD.
• Participate in audits and respond to records of process equipment.

Key responsibilities:

1. To ensure compliance to cGMP and Safety regulations.
