Job summary

Breathe Resorts is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, product launches, and social gatherings. You will manage end-to-end events from pre-sale through post-event follow-up and maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and F&B details.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure events meet quality standards while tracking budgets and performance.

Role

As an Event Manager at Breathe Resorts, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, product launches, and various social gatherings. You will ensure seamless coordination from pre-sale through event execution and post-event follow-up. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of event bookings, contracts, communications, and F&B details, while assisting with reporting to track event budgets, F&B orders, client requests, and overall event performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute various events that are getting booked from concept to completion.
  • Develop event strategies, timelines, budgets, and project plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders to understand event objectives.
  • Research, select, and negotiate with vendors, production teams, and other service providers to execute event.
  • Oversee venue setup, event execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Ensure events are executed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, event staff, and contractors during event execution.
  • Monitor event registrations, attendee engagement, and overall event performance.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and prepare performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive event bookings, team-building events, curated dining experiences, and menu planning to deliver seamless and memorable corporate/social engagements.
  • In-depth understanding of the events industry/Travel industry, including familiarity with event planning, conferences, exhibitions, and related services. Knowledge of the hospitality sector and accommodation booking processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, present proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for exceeding targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a goal-oriented mindset.

Must know English, Kannada, and Hindi (Tulu is an added advantage).
