Role Description

The Event Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving event-related business and managing client relationships. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals for corporate and private events. The role involves collaborating with the event planning and production teams to align client requirements with feasible event concepts and budgets. The Event Sales Manager will maintain pipelines, forecast revenue, and provide regular sales reports, while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business. This position also includes attending client meetings, site visits, and industry networking events to build brand visibility and expand the client base.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, including experience coordinating end-to-end event lifecycles.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, with a track record of generating leads, negotiating, and closing event-related business.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, client-facing interaction, and stakeholder coordination.
• Candidates should possess experience managing Private Events or similar customized event formats for diverse clients.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with production technologies, budgeting and cost estimation, CRM tools, and basic contract management.
• Experience in event agencies, production houses, or hospitality sectors, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field is advantageous, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.
