Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Engineering Recruiter with automotive industry experience to join our U.S. Staffing team. This role focuses on identifying, attracting, and recruiting engineering professionals to support hiring needs of our U.S. automotive clients.

You will partner with hiring managers, source and screen candidates, and manage the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer follow-up while maintaining strong candidate relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in U.S. Staffing.
• Understanding of U.S. work authorization and visa classifications (US Citizen, Green Card, H-1B, TN, EAD, OPT/CPT, etc.).
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and maintaining candidate databases.
• Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent sourcing, screening, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Engineering Recruiter with automotive industry experience to join our growing U.S. Staffing team. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and recruiting engineering professionals to support the hiring needs of our U.S. automotive clients.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for recruiting engineering professionals for US-based opportunities across various industries, with automotive industry experience preferred or experience in a similar technical industry.
• Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from initial sourcing and candidate engagement to interview coordination and offer follow-up.
• Maintain strong candidate relationships and ensure a positive recruitment experience.
• Collaborate with the team to meet hiring targets and support business growth.
• Track recruitment progress, provide regular updates, and address hiring challenges to ensure timely closures.
• Stay informed about industry trends, talent availability, and market compensation to support effective hiring decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in U.S. Staffing.

• Prior experience recruiting for Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering, Validation, Manufacturing, or similar engineering disciplines.
