Job summary

Emerson is seeking a field service engineer to oversee on-site service execution and complete jobs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You will work within safety standards, prepare site visit reports, and coordinate sign-off with the customer upon completion.

You will support the Project/Engineering teams, stay updated on Emerson measurement solutions, and handle installation, commissioning, AMC and ARC services, while maintaining QA procedures and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with relevant work experience.
• Experience in field products maintenance and service, troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Level, Flow, Wireless, and corrosion technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site service execution and complete jobs to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure work performed per Emerson safety and standard procedures within schedule.
• Prepare detailed site visit reports and obtain customer sign-off after each job.
• Respond to customer queries, escalate when needed, and ensure corrective action.
• Follow Emerson QMS and Procedures / Work Instructions; maintain standards.
• Provide technical support to Project/Engineering teams on demand.
• Maintain knowledge of Emerson measurement solutions; share with service team.
• Provide installation, commissioning, AMC and ARC service support; keep calendars up to date.
• Manage LTSA, Shutdown and Audit activities.
• Keep service visit data/reports up to date for various service calls.

Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Overall responsibility for on-site service job execution and complete the jobs to achieve highest customer satisfaction level.
• Ensure executing services in accordance with Emerson safety & Standard procedures and operations are carried out within time schedule.
• Prepare detailed site visit report / MOM and arrange sign off from customer after completion of each job.
• Promptly respond to customers’ queries and complaints, escalating when necessary and ensuring that corrective action is taken by own organization and by customer organization.
• Ensure Emerson Quality Management System and Procedures / Work Instructions are followed, and standards are maintained.
• Provide technical assistance and support to Project / Engineering department, on demand basis.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on new services and products offered by Emerson Measurement solutions. Maintain technical awareness of new technology and share the knowledge with the service team members.
• Provide installation, commissioning, AMC, and ARC service support and Maintain AMC/ARC calendar up to date.
• LTSA, Shutdown and Audit management.
• Keep service visit data / reports / back-up up to date on Service for various service calls.
• Experience and knowledge on filed products commissioning.
• Good knowledge in products of Level, Flow , Wireless, Corrosion technologies.
• Work Experience on Products like PT/DPT/TT, Radar level, Coriolis, Magnetic & Vortex flow meters, Flow computers, Associated skid components like pumps , Digital valves
• Knowledge of various communication protocols like HART, foundation Fieldbus, WI-Hart, RS485 etc
• Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Experience in field products in maintenance and service, troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of various communication protocols like HART, foundation Fieldbus, WI-Hart, RS485 etc

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 4-5 years of work experience.
• Experience in field products in maintenance and service, troubleshooting.
