Job summary

Emerson is seeking a software test engineer to validate HART, Foundation Fieldbus and PROFIBUS integrations within DeltaV/AMS and HH475. The role focuses on ensuring usability and reliable communication across process control devices.

You will design test plans, execute tests, log defects, and report metrics to the lead. Strong communication, analytical skills, and quick learning are essential in a collaborative environment at Emerson.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/experience of process field devices (flow, level, temperature, pressure, final control).
• Knowledge/experience of industrial protocols (HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, Modbus).
• Experience with AMS/HH475 or DeltaV DCS environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Software testing of HART, FF and PROFIBUS protocols with DeltaV/AMS and HH475 for usability.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Software testing of HART, FF and PROFIBUS communication protocol supported eDD for Usability aspect using DeltaV/AMS System and HH475
• Software testingof HART , FF and PROFIBUS based field device integration with DeltaV/AMS System
• Write Test plan, log issues in issue database
• Communicate Test metrics and status to lead at periodic interval

• Knowledge/ Experience of Asset Management System (AMS /HH475) or Distributed Control System (DeltaV)
