Job summary

Saur Energy International in Mumbai seeks a Service Engineer to manage on-site service execution for analytical systems in power and oil & gas sectors. You will ensure timely completion, prepare site reports, and obtain customer sign-off after each job.

You will troubleshoot, update the team on Emerson products, and support installation, commissioning, AMC/ARC, and audits while maintaining QA/QMS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Experience on analytical systems for Power and Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
• Strong on-site service execution and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for on-site service execution and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure services follow Emerson procedures and are completed on time.
• Prepare site visit reports and obtain customer sign-off after each job.
• Respond to customer queries; escalate when needed and drive corrective actions.
• Follow Emerson QMS and work instructions; maintain standards.
• Provide technical support to Project/Engineering on demand.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Emerson Analytical System products.
• Provide installation, commissioning, AMC and ARC service support and keep calendars up to date.
• LTSA, Shutdown and Audit management.
• Keep service visit data/reports up-to-date.
• Knowledge on Gas and Liquid Analytical Systems and sample handling.
• Experience with Gas Analyzers, Liquid analyzers, SWAS, GC, Detectors, CEMS, HVAC.
• Experience with refinery/process knowledge is a plus.

Job description

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Overall responsibility for on-site service job execution and completion with satisfaction to customer
• Ensure executing services in accordance with Emerson Standard procedures and operations are carried out within time schedule.
• Prepare detailed site visit report / MOM and arrange signed off from customer after completion of each job.
• Promptly respond to customer's queries and complaints, escalating when necessary and ensuring that corrective action is taken by own organization and by customer organization.
• Ensure Emerson Quality Management System and Procedures / Work Instructions are followed, and standards are maintained.
• Provide technical assistance and support to Project / Engineering department, on demand basis.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge on new services and product offered by Emerson Analytical System. Maintain technical awareness of new technology and share the knowledge with the service team members.
• Provide installation, commissioning, AMC and ARC service support and Maintain AMC/ARC calendar up to date.
• LTSA, Shutdown and Audit management.
• Keep service visit data / reports / back-up up-to-date on Service for various service calls.
• Detailed knowledge on Gas and Liquid Analytical System along with Sample handling and supporting system.
• Work Experience on Products like Gas Analyzers, Liquid analyzers, Steam and Water Analysis System (SWAS), GC, Sample Handling System, Gas Detectors, Digital communication protocols, CEMS, Shelter and Logic, HVAC, Brief knowledge of Refinery process, Power Plant process etc.
• Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Experience on Analytical System for Power and Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.
