Job summary

Indo- Mim is seeking a dynamic New Product Development Engineer to lead NPD activities for aerospace and automotive casting applications. The ideal candidate will apply strong technical expertise in design feasibility, process planning, and customer handling, with hands-on experience in casting environments.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for feasibility, creating new product timing plans, developing process flows and routers, verifying tools and fixtures, and preparing APQP, PPAP,

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of process planning, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and quality tools.
• Experience in customer interactions and project reviews.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and CMM reports.

• Review drawing feasibility and conduct design reviews with project teams for new products.
• Prepare and execute new product timing plans.
• Develop process flows and routers during feasibility stages.
• Verify and coordinate tools, gauges, and fixtures design and availability for new products.
• Prepare PFD, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Create and maintain APQP & PPAP documentation.
• Interact with overseas customers, attend conference calls, and address technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues in new product development until customer approval is obtained.
• Analyze CMM reports and recommend necessary corrections.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of NPD activities and meet delivery commitments.
