Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking an experienced NPD Manager for an aerospace-focused role in Bengaluru. Lead end-to-end new product development from PO receipt to production handover and coordinate cross-functional teams across design, QA, SCM, PPC, and production.

10+ years of aerospace experience required. Hands-on GD&T, CMM/VMS measurement programs, APQP/PPAP submissions, and compliance with AS9100/Nadcap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years aerospace NPD experience required.
• Strong GD&T and measurement system expertise.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP submissions and customer validations.
• Familiarity with AS9100/Nadcap standards and aerospace processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NPD projects from PO receipt to production handover.

• Review engineering drawings, specs, and customer standards; ensure conformance.
• Drive project trackers, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
• Lead customer communications for technical queries, status updates, and approvals.

Job Description

Work experience:10+ Aerospace experience.

• Lead end-to-end execution of new product development projects from PO receipt to production handover.
• Handle NPD team Project, Quality & Design.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, QA, SCM, PPC, Production) to ensure timely project milestones.
• Conduct PO contract review with Internal CFT and Customer.
• Develop project tracker, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
• Drive customer communication for technical queries, status updates, and approvals.
• Review and flow down engineering drawings, specifications, special process requirements, assembly requirements and customer standards.
• Hands-on experience with GD&T.
• Ensure correct selection and usage of measuring instruments (CMM, VMS, height gauge, callipers, micrometres, roughness tester, plug gauges, thread gauges, etc).
• Review and approve measurement programs for CMM/VMS and verify measurement accuracy.
• Hands-on experience with APQP/PPAP/FAI submissions and customer validations.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, AS13100, Nadcap, customer-specific requirements).
• Conduct internal project review meetings and maintain progress dashboards; escalate risks proactively.
• Support smooth transition from development to production with clear handover and lessons learned from the development.
