Job summary

Innno mech Aerospace Toolings is seeking a hands-on engineer to drive end-to-end aerospace NPI projects. The role requires expertise in DFM, GD&T, and feasibility studies, with extensive CNC turning, VMC, and 4+1/5-axis machining.

You will plan tooling, fixtures and machining strategies, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. You will collaborate across Design, CAM, Production, Quality, PPC and Tooling teams to deliver robust processes and first article inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• End-to-end Aerospace NPI experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of DFM, GD&T, drawing interpretation & manufacturing feasibility.
• Hands-on CNC turning, VMC, 4+1 Axis & 5-Axis machining exposure.
• Experience with process planning, tooling, fixtures & machining strategies.
• Knowledge of Aerospace materials (Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel/Nickel alloys).
• Understanding of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC & MSA.
• Experience in FAIR/AS9102 and aerospace first article inspection.
• Knowledge of AS9100 / AS9145 requirements is preferred.
• Experience in CNC prove-out, process validation & production release.
• Knowledge of Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk & capability studies.
• Strong problem-solving skills – 8D, RCA, 5-Why, Fishbone, NCR/MRB.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, SMED & productivity improvement.
• Exposure to NX CAM / Mastercam / HyperMill is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional coordination with Design, CAM, Production, Quality, PPC & Tooling teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete NPI cycle for aerospace components from customer drawing to production release.
• Plan processes, tooling, fixtures and machining strategies aligned with AS9100 requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, CAM, Production, Quality, PPC and Tooling teams to ensure feasibility and quality.
