Job summary

Egis in Nagpur is seeking a site engineer to oversee HVAC installation and smart building systems. You will coordinate with in-house architects and the design team, resolve contractor queries, and ensure systems are integrated with MEP services.

You will manage scheduling and manpower estimates, supervise contractor works, conduct on-site inspections and testing, prepare technical reports and manuals, and enforce safety protocols while implementing building automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with in-house architects & design team; resolve contractor queries; interact with MEP engineers to integrate systems.
• Manage estimates durations for activity, manpower requirements, and timelines.
• Direct and supervise contractor works during installation.
• Conduct on-site inspections and testing to ensure work quality; approve suppliers and materials with design team.
• Resolve issues and unexpected problems on-site.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of all HVAC systems.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and manuals.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols.
• Implement smart building control systems; share knowledge of building management systems (BMS).

Troubleshooting: Resolve issues and unexpected problems on-site.

System Testing: Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of all HVAC systems.

Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and manuals

Safety: Implement and monitor safety protocols.
