Mactech Engineers Pvt Ltd. in Chennai seeks an Engineer/Manager - Sales Service for cutting tools, covering Kennametal and Widia products. This is a full-time sales service role located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The candidate will lead lead generation, product presentations, demonstrations, and estimations, manage orders and collections, and drive sales to meet targets while coordinating with the MD and the sales team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 2–10 years experience in Industrial sales.
• Fluent in Tamil and English (read/write/speak).
• Based in Chennai, willing to travel within Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka.
• Basic IT system knowledge including email and CRM quotation preparation.

Responsabilités

• Lead generation, product presentations, demonstrations, and estimation.
• Order management and payment collections; ensure customer service.
• Meet sales targets in the assigned territory and manage PL for the product group.
• Coordinate with MD and sales team; prepare commercial and technical proposals.
• Conduct trials and demonstrations at customer machines; provide manufacturing solutions.
• Maintain customer relations and conduct regular customer visits.
• Participate in pre-sales and troubleshoot issues.
• Travel to meet customers in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka.

Job Summary

Engineer / Manager - Sales Service (for Cutting Tools) - Kennametal and Widia. Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Full-time position in Sales Service.

Responsibilities

• Experience in manufacturing industries Heavy Industries segment.


• Experience in selling industrial products like Cutting tools Metal Working Solutions.


• Should have sound technical and commercial knowledge.


• Will have to work as a team and increase sales as per the company's goal.


• He will be responsible for lead generation, product presentation, demonstration, estimation, order management, payment collections, customer service.


• Meeting sales collection targets in assigned territory.


• Shall be responsible for the PL for the product group assigned.


• He will be reporting to the Managing Director and coordinating with other sales team members.


• Preparing commercial and technical proposals.


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machines.


• Ability to conduct commercial negotiations with good Techno-Commercial skills.


• Good command over spoken and written English and Tamil.


• Conducting trials demonstrations at customer machines and providing the right manufacturing solutions to the customers.


• Maintaining relations with customers and conduction customer presentations.


• Visiting Customers regularly. Participate in Pre-Sales and Trouble Shooting activities.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering


• 2-10 years experience in Industrial sales, preferably in power tools hand tools


• Fluent in Tamil English - Read/Write/Speak


• Based in Chennai


• Ability to Travel Meet customers regularly (Tamilnadu, Andhra Karnataka)


• Basic IT system knowledge, email communication, CRM Quotation preparation.
