Job summary

RPG Group in Vadodara, India, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to independently handle critical machine breakdowns in the cable plant and to plan preventive maintenance for machines and utilities.

The role requires BE/BTech with hands-on VFD experience and PLC ladder knowledge, plus operational familiarity with cable machinery; SAP/IMS data maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• Hands-on experience with VFDs and cable machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC ladder logic.
• Operational knowledge of cable machinery.

Responsibilities

• Independently handling critical machine breakdowns in Cable plant
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance of machines as well as utilities.
• Analyze breakdowns and implement action plans to eliminate them.
• Provide technical guidance & training to the team
• Achievement of departmental KPIs. (PM adherence, MTBF, MTTR, Power saving, Spares cost management, safety)
• Maintain Maintenance related data in SAP & IMS documentation
• Manpower management in the respective shift.
• Reduction in cost related to repairs.
