Job summary

Torrent Electricals is seeking a maintenance-focused professional in Gujarat to oversee maintenance, project planning, and upgradation of high and medium voltage cable machinery. You will respond to breakdowns, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety and 5S compliance on site.

Responsibilities include analyzing faults, planning predictive maintenance, coordinating with production, and managing spare parts and vendor interactions for EHV equipment and utilities.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering skills focusing on EHT/HT/LT cable machinery like VCV, CCV, insulation, armouring.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safety regulations and PPE use, 5S implementation.

Job description

Carry out Maintenance, Project & Updation work for EHT , HT ,LT cable machineries-VCV,CCV, Sheathing, E- Beam,Lead sheathing, Drawing, Insulation, Armouring ,DT, Annealing, Instru & Wires machinery etc.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate necessary repairs
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) & 5 S implementation

Analyze technical data to diagnose equipment faults and recommend corrective actions

Effectively communicate maintenance plans, updates, and issues to production teams and management
Having a strong understanding of locally available equipment, spare parts, and repair services.

Inspecting electrical & mechanical equipments, machines & their working & systems for signs of damage or wea

Performing of Predictive ( Asset care) maintenance based on input from the routine inspection. Maintenance after proper co-ordination with production team

Study & analysis of the breakdown, preparing CAPA, etc to eliminate the breakdown as much as possible

Coordinate with the OEM to resolve issues related to installation and routine maintenance

Critical spares, inventory management

Co-ordination for Shutdown planned activities with vendors & interdepartments

Specification analysis, comparison making for the equipment prior to PR, procurement, etc

Ensuring smooth operation of utility services equipments by proper maintenance planning & maintening critical spares. Machineries like 66 KV Sub station, 11 KV/ 415 Sub station,DG Set, UPS,Air compressors, RO Plant, N2 Plant , Air compressor,Boilers, Chiller,MH vehicles maintenance etc.

IMS, EHS & 5S related documentation, on floor implemantation, modification, etc

Project Planning & Implementation : Material Scheduling,Communicating with Internal & External parties,Tracking & maintaining project Timelines in coordination with Stakeholders, Documentation & Invoicing, Field Supervision, Safety,Study of Electrical/mechanical design drawings,Installation and commissiong of Machineries for EHV ( VCV, CCV etc ),HT,LT, Instrumentation & control Wires - 66 KV Substation,11/415 V Substation, & other Utilities
