Job summary

Hrs Process System Pune invites applications for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems. You will troubleshoot MCC, APFC, PLC panels, transformers, DG sets, EOT cranes, pumps, and associated equipment, ensuring reliability and minimized downtime.

Required are a diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with hands-on maintenance experience and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and industrial equipment.
• Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Excellent knowledge of MCC, APFC, PLC panels, protection systems, cabling, and testing.
• Basic PLC knowledge and instrumentation understanding.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation spares.
• Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, machines, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and maintain transformers, DG sets, EOT cranes, welding machines, pumps, and other plant equipment.
• Handle MCC, APFC, PLC panels, protection systems, motors, and pumps troubleshooting.
• Perform PLC panel cabling, testing, and basic PLC maintenance.
• Carry out cable sizing, system cabling, testing, and electrical equipment troubleshooting.
• Inspect instruments like temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, flow meters, and other instrumentation.
• Manage spares/components and coordinate availability.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and service providers for maintenance.
• Independently manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure minimum downtime and reliable operation of plant equipment.

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, machines, and utilities.
