Job summary

Polycab India Limited is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for its HT Cable Division in Gujarat. The candidate will focus on minimizing downtime, improving system availability, and MTBF/MTTR metrics.

The role includes planning preventive maintenance, performing breakdown maintenance on machines and utilities, and managing spare parts while ensuring ISO compliance and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Electrical maintenance in cable industries.
• Experience in HT cable division.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, 5S, Kaizen and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan the preventive maintenance of machines and adhere to it.
• Perform breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities.
• Manage spares for machines and validate ISO-related documents.

Job Description:

1. Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Electrical maintenance-Cable Industries-HT Cable Division.
2. To minimize the electrical maintenance down time, improve the system Availability and Reliability(MTBF/MTTR & % B.D ) in Respective Section by identifying the Bottleneck, modification, energy saving projects etc. , Reduce Maintenance Cost (Spare/Service ) .
3. Prime Responsibility:- Planning the preventive maintenance of machine and adhering it, Breakdown maintenance of machine and utility, Managing spares of machines & Validate and ensure legal compliance of electrical Department
4. Secondary Responsibility:- Generating PR/IR for spares, Follow ups for the spares and critical spares with functional head and purchase dept, Managing all the documents related to ISO
5. Functional Skills:- Technical knowledge & proficiency of Maintenance activity of heavy engineering industry, Technical knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance of utilities
6. Should have Knowledge on ISO Standards, 5s, kaizen, Safety rules and regulation etc
