Job summary

The Talent Hired-the Job Store is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee day-to-day monitoring, maintenance planning, and reliability targets across the plant. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements, ensure safety, and promote energy conservation.

Responsibilities include maintaining electrical and automation systems, troubleshooting CNC/PLC control machines, and leading a team of 10–15 technicians while managing spare parts and TPM

Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc & Siemens CNC and PLC controllers to diagnose and rectify daily breakdowns.
• Strong knowledge of TPM methods including PM, CBM and TBM.
• Able to lead a 10-15 member maintenance team.
• Spare parts management and planning of long lead spares.
• Operational knowledge of LT/HT panels.
• Good communication skills.
• Compliance with shift maintenance activities and breakdown response.
• Electrical drawing interpretation and interlocking.
• Troubleshoot CNC grinding, HMCs, VMCs and turning machines.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

The role involves day-to-day monitoring of operations, maintenance planning and execution, and ensuring the achievement of equipment uptime and reliability targets. The position also requires effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvements, resolve technical issues, align team efforts with organizational objectives, and promote energy conservation and safety across the plant.

Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems across the entire plant, including PLC- and SCADA-based automated equipment and utility peripherals, while ensuring adherence to all BFL-recommended safety standards

• Should be well conversant with various Fanuc & Siemens CNC & PLC controller machines to diagnose & rectify day to day breakdowns in shifts.
• Able to lead the team of 10- 15 people
• Spare part management knowledge is essential criteria. Able to identify & plan the day to day long lead spares
• Conversant with TPM Methodology with its tools & techniques such as PM, CBM & TBM .
• Able to diagnose & rectify the problems of inprocess gauging like Marposs & relevant system
• Troubleshooting knowledge of CNC grinding, HMCs, VMCs & turning machines is essential criteria
• Should have the good knowledge about kinematics of any machine
• Operational knowledge of LT HT panel is must.
• Should have very good communication skill
• Compliance to shift maintenance activities, and attend all breakdown of the line equipment
• Operation and Maintenance of Automated machines..
• Day-to-day maintenance activity.
• Calibration and testing of furnace and instruments as per schedule
• Handling all Machines & Equipments and maintain good condition.
• Improve Uptime , MTTR & MTBF as well as no. of breakdowns
• Taking backup and maintaining equipment data,Parameters.
• LOTO and safety procedures in daily work.
• Identify required spares and spare part management.
• Dismental and asssemble/electrical installation during machine shifting.
• 5S, Why Why and Root cause analysis.
• Understand Electical drawing and interlocking. Able to prepare small circuits and interlocking.
• Trouble shoot PLC & able to understand PLC prog.(Siemens/Allen Bradely/Mitsubishi) systems.
• In-house repairing of repairable spare assembly.
• To develop and enhance safe working environment

Technical Skills required:

Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, Servo Drives, master Drives hands on experience.

AB and Siemens PLC programming and logic development expertise.

Fanuc or any other Robotic operational and programming expertise
