Job summary

Bharat Forge is seeking a seasoned production and shop floor supervisor for its Tirupati operations. The role focuses on production management, machine and tooling oversight, and quality control to sustain high productivity.

Candidates should bring CNC machining experience, familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Mazak controls, GD&T, SPC, PFMEA and APQP knowledge, plus a drive for Kaizen, TPM and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining operations and shop floor supervision.
• Familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Mazak CNC controls preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and SPC methods.
• Understanding of PFMEA, APQP and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production management and daily shop floor activities.
• Ensure quality management and process control on the line.
• Manage machines, equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Drive productivity improvements and lean initiatives.
• Enforce safety and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain documentation and records.
• Lead cross functional coordination with other teams.
• Manage personnel and performance on the shop floor.
• Support continuous improvement and TPM activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance for uptime and reliability.
