Job summary

Taural India is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to inspect, repair, and boost uptime on DISA lines. You will develop PLC logic, troubleshoot Siemens/Schneider platforms, and lead preventive maintenance across heavy manufacturing processes.

Role requires hands-on DISA line experience, knowledge of VFDs/servo systems, and proficiency with ERP logging in SAP. Collaborate with mechanical engineers and external vendors to ensure safety and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation.
• 5–7 years of experience in electrical/PLC maintenance, preferably in foundry or heavy manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with DISA Moulding Lines (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Siemens, Schneider, etc.).
• Familiarity with VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and PLC logic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, cranes and control panels on DISA lines.
• PLC Programming & Troubleshooting: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic (Siemens or equivalent).
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Fault Diagnosis: Identify root causes of electrical/automation failures and implement corrective actions.
• System Upgrades: Support installation and commissioning of new electrical/automation components.
• ERP/SAP Integration: Record maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and downtime logs in SAP/ERP systems for accurate reporting.
• Documentation: Maintain electrical schematics, PLC programs, and ERP-based maintenance records.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and electrical codes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, production teams, and external vendors.
