Job summary

Somany Ceramics Plant in Haryana is seeking a skilled Electronics & Automation Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electronic systems and equipment on production lines. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, encoders, drives, and industrial control systems to minimize downtime and keep lines running.

The role requires diagnosing faults in electronic cards, power supplies, panels, and field instruments; maintaining calibration of sensors

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance of electronic systems and equipment across production lines.
• Ability to read electrical/electronic diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to work in shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electronic systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, encoders, drives, and industrial control systems.

• Attend machine breakdowns and implement root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams for equipment reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
• Follow safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure availability of critical electronic spare parts and assist in inventory management.
