Job summary

Bharat Forge is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for its Tirupati plant to safeguard continuous line operation and equipment reliability.

You will lead shift maintenance, perform preventive and predictive activities, analyze downtime causes, and drive 5S and TPM initiatives while keeping spares costs within target. A strong background in PLCs, robotics, SAP CMMS, and IoT-enabled maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, and servo drives expertise.
• Experience in AB/Siemens PLC programming and logic development.
• Robotics operation and programming experience (Fanuc or equivalent).
• Hydraulic systems and utility maintenance experience.
• Furnace and induction heater knowledge.
• SAP and computerized maintenance management systems knowledge.
• Instrumentation and digital IoT platform knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Compliance to shift maintenance activities and attend line equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain forging line equipment in healthy condition.
• Follow planned and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Follow predictive maintenance and address non-conformities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and Kaizen for downtime.
• Maintain equipment history cards.
• Control maintenance spare costs within target.
• In-house repair of repairable spare assemblies.
• Follow TPM approach and 5S in the work area.
• Develop and enhance a safe working environment.

• 1. Compliance to shift maintenance activities, and attend all breakdown of the line equipment in bare minimum time.
• 2. To maintain forging line equipment in healthy condition.
• 3. To follow planned and preventive maintenance schedule.
• 4. To follow predictive maintenance and non-confirmative to be addressed.
• 5. To do why-why analysis deriving root cause and kaizen for all equipment downtime
• 6. To maintain equipment history card
• 7. To control maintenance spare cost within target
• 8. In-house repairing of repairable spare assembly.
• 9. To follow TPM approach and 5S activities in concern area of work
• 10. To develop and enhance safe working environment

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. Siemens PLC, SCADA, HMI, Servo Drives, master Drives hands on experience.
• 2. AB and Siemens PLC programming and logic development expertise.
• 3. Fanuc or any other Robotic operational and programming expertise
